BAC Fellowship
Border Arts Corridor is the recipient of Ford/NALAC Border Narrative Change Grant and have developed the first iteration of the BAC Fellowship. Between April and November, this funding will support six emerging artists whose art, life, and histories are woven between the US/Mexico border. Artists will be immersed in a process where they will learn, unlearn, and relearn about the past, present, and future of the lands they currently inhabit, visiting the individual threads of history, migration, social justice, and politics that have woven an exquisite border identity. Additionally, this program aims to inspire new works of art to penetrate and shape the national rhetoric by supporting authentic storytelling and cultural production by our community.
